## Generation Issues

### Generation is very slow

Possible causes:

* High server load (peak hours)
* Long duration setting
* High quality setting
* Slow internet connection

Try:

* Reducing duration
* Using standard quality instead of high
* Generating during off-peak hours
* Checking your internet speed

### My generation failed

Common causes:

* Prompt too long (limit \~500 characters)
* Prompt contains restricted content
* Server temporarily unavailable
* Insufficient credits

Try:

* Shortening your prompt
* Removing any explicit content references
* Waiting a few minutes and retrying
* Checking your credit balance

### The generated music sounds bad

Quality issues usually come from:

* Vague prompts (be more specific)
* Conflicting descriptors (don't use opposites)
* Too many instruments listed (limit to 3-5)
* Wrong genre name (use specific subgenres)

See [Best Prompts for AI Music](/docs/ai-music-generation/best-prompts.md) for guidance.

### Vocals sound robotic

Try:

* Using a different voice option
* Adding more emotional descriptors
* Specifying vocal style (smooth, raspy, breathy)
* Using shorter phrases for clearer pronunciation

### The music doesn't match my prompt

Iterate:

1. Check if your prompt is specific enough
2. Try regenerating (sometimes the same prompt produces better results)
3. Add more specific descriptors
4. Reduce conflicting elements

### Generated music has artifacts or noise

This can happen with:

* Heavy production styles (metal, distorted electronic)
* Very dense arrangements
* Some specific genre combinations

Try simpler prompts or different genre descriptions.

## Cover Songs

### My cover song sounds off-key

* The voice model may not match the song's key
* Try a different voice model with appropriate range
* Pre-process the song to match the voice's range

### Voice doesn't match the lyrics

Some voice models work better with specific languages or accents. Try different voice options.

### Cover song processing failed

Possible causes:

* Audio file too large (limit 100 MB)
* Unsupported format (use MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A)
* Audio too short (under 30 seconds may fail)
* Heavy effects on original vocals interfering

## Stem Splitter

### Stems still have other instruments bleeding in

This is a common limitation of AI separation. Try:

* Using a higher quality source file
* Switching to 5-stem mode
* Using a different version of the song

### My audio file won't upload

Check:

* File size (must be under 100 MB)
* File format (MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A, OGG)
* File isn't corrupted (try playing it locally)
* Internet connection is stable

### Vocals are still audible in instrumental track

Some songs have vocals so blended they can't be fully removed. This is common with:

* Older recordings
* Songs with very layered vocals
* Live recordings

## BPM & Key Finder

### Wrong BPM detected

Songs with these characteristics may detect incorrectly:

* Multiple tempo changes
* Half-time / double-time feel
* Sparse arrangements
* Unusual time signatures

Try analyzing different sections of the song.

### Wrong key detected

Songs with key changes or unusual chord progressions may detect incorrectly. The confidence score indicates how reliable the result is.

## Lyrics Generator

### Lyrics seem repetitive or generic

Try:

* More specific themes
* Detailed imagery in your prompt
* Specifying perspective (first person, narrative)
* Combining multiple generation runs and editing

### Lyrics don't fit the song's mood

* Specify the exact mood you want
* Reference the song's tempo
* Ask for specific structural elements

### Generated lyrics are inappropriate

If lyrics are inappropriate for your needs:

* Be more specific about tone
* Add restrictions ("family-friendly," "no profanity")
* Edit the output to remove unwanted elements

## Downloads & Files

### My download won't start

* Check browser permissions for downloads
* Disable popup blockers
* Try a different browser
* Check available disk space

### Downloaded file won't play

* Try a different audio player
* Check if the file completed downloading (size matches expected)
* Re-download the file
* Try a different format (MP3 vs WAV)

### File quality is low

* Choose WAV instead of MP3 for highest quality
* Use the "high quality" generation setting
* Check that you downloaded the original, not a preview

## Billing & Credits

### My credits aren't showing

* Refresh the page
* Log out and back in
* Wait a few minutes (sometimes there's a delay)
* Contact support if credits don't appear within 24 hours

Mobile browsers have some limitations:

* File uploads may behave differently
* Audio playback varies by browser
* Some advanced settings may be hidden

For heavy production work, use a desktop browser.

### Touch interface issues

* Try landscape orientation for more space
* Use a stylus for precise selections
* Switch to desktop view if needed
